  • IOT Open Door

The IOT Open Door was an initiative aimed at demystifying the The Internet Of Things to facilitate a better understand of the potential of these technologies, stripped of their hype. The door was always open to answer questions or have a discussion.
The clinics unpacked the IoT landscape through case studies, interactive demos and applied their understanding by building small scale prototypes for e.g.: an internet connected light and a temperature data logger that controlled a fan.
The intention behind the clinics was to instil a sense of confidence among the attendees with regards to what makes IoT unique as a grouping of different technologies. Developing this understanding was to enable participants to apply this knowledge to experiences and situations unique to themselves, developing meaningful IoT solutions and constructs.
